Well, the original plan to go out of town this weekend feel through because the one I was going with got shorted on their check. So....
Thursday, family came over and had dinner, and rubbed the fact that Dallas won their game in my sister's face. :) GO COWBOYS~!
Friday, didn't do too much. I went around shopping with my mom because otherwise she wouldn't go to staples to get a memory card for a digital camera that my Brother's girldfriend wanted. The main reason she didn't get it herself is that she lives about an hour from here and probably didn't feel like driving to Omaha, and wasn't sure if she would make it in time for the early morning sales. I got a new cell phone and still using tracfone. But atleast it should be able to last more than five minutes into a call without dying. So yeah!
Saturday, I pretty much didn't do anything in the morning, I tested out the phone to make sure it works(need to wait a few hours atleast to make sure they didn't get something right). Then at 6:00 I started getting ready to go to PCW's show. So one plan going up in smoke still gives me a day off to get to go to a show. The show was one of their big shows that have, Fall Fury 5, I believe. The show wasn't too bad...but not too good either. It was probably close to saying decent at best. Met up with some of the people that I still talk to with in, and bugged the sound man for he had the volume turned up, and the computer he has the music on had an error occur during the Main Event. So there was a ping heard through the house speakers and he got a you fucked up chant directed at him.
Sunday, watched football and didn't do much more than that.
Monday, wasn't schedule to work so I watched Monday Night RAW....The show was good for the most part, but my big complaint was how they did the finish of the Main Event. Yeah, sure Triple H doesn't have the title, but it was just a big let down to see them do a pin/submission combination to end the show with who won the belt Beniot or Edge?

in a better mood...to a degree
I have a take home test from class to work on between now and next Tuesday along with an article Presentation. I will be doing a lot of it tomorrow and Thursday for I will be out of town on Friday through part of Sunday I believe.
I have officially lost the Christmas spirit. Having to work on a tree for 3 hours and then the next day have them completely shit on the idea of using it ticked me off a little bit.
But I am in sort of a somber mood though since Sunday. I found out on Sunday night a guy I went to school with is sick. This guy was a year younger, but is very smart. They started taking the grade above's math class starting in either fifth or sixth grade because of how they flew through it.
They took care of themselves physically and mentally as best they could. They were into weight lifting and played football until his knee started to weaken his sophomore year. After high school he got a full ride scholarship, I believe, to Notre Dame.
But on Sunday, I found out from family that this guy has brain cancer and isn't doing too good. It is amazing, the people who do good things, and could possibly in the future do great things are the ones who end up with this shit happening.
All I can say is.....Cole keeping fighting and hopefully you will pull through. You are in my prays.
the job and other nonsense
I need to find something that will take my mind off of work while I am there. Any more I keep thinking I need to find a way out of there, but also seeing how much where I am also affecting me makes me want to find a way out of this town. I just don't know anymore. Work, school, and other stuff is affecting me different ways. I am actually enjoying the night class, but work comes into play as we have an Assistant Manager who is either around my age or younger. The reason we aren't sure of her age is because she has told someone she is younger than what was said by someone else.
I talked to the old Assistant Manager today and they have a new job and they like it a lot better than the hotel. They are understaffed, and I was told they have a spot for an old job opened. And I guess the work morale is affecting some other workers for they are going to job to the place him and the old food and beverage director are at.
So for the most part I have a lot of thinking ahead for me. But I just want to get out of here.

I am not the one to talk, but I am the one who talks...on this blog..
New assistant manager in the department, and they (upper managers) are trying their best to keep this person from quiting. They let them leave early even though we have a hourly supervisor who is still on, and the Food and Beverage Director is wondering how to cut labor cost.
Even better is that on Saturday, we have 2 decent sized parties, one banquet captain with the day off, and the assistant manager working the morning shift, and now having to worry about work the night shift. Oh and can't forget to mention the head of the banquets department is taking their vacation...wonderful...
And yet the best part is a couple of weeks ago the night banquet captain, and the head server/banquet supervisor have been told they don't have the authority to run a big party on their own because they don't have "manager" in their title. So let's see here, they give the captain and supervisor all the responsibility of the big party, and yet they supposively can't have the power.
So my belief is this....
FUCK THE GOD DAMN PLACE!
A while ago, I tried apply for the Banquet captain position, and didn't even get the chance for an interview. And I came to find out later that the person who got the spot, walked out during their first day. Yeah this was probably about a year ago, but the fact is that they say they are about fair practice, and yet they fuck people over on a minutely basis. I am about to go to the General Manager and ask if I can help out the maintence department with the work they do on the new network they have going on. That way I can actually use this ed-a-ma-ja-cation I have spent fucking too long on for a use.
Some updates
Well, I updated the blog a little bit with the links. I added another castle, which is a very good gamers blog. With members of ITVR keeping people up to date on the world of video games. JC & The Noise has finally been added, and a few other's novel for the November contest at some site. One is wrestling related, and the other is by Muggs.
Friday, I bid farewell to a friend who went down to the sunshine state. How long will they be gone? Not too sure, but hopefully they are taking good care of themselves. But this happened after I had to work an hors' derves party for one of our most frequented customers. Unfortunately I was supposed to work the buffet line in the beginning, but having the only bar with one bartender getting hit harder than an adult movie star stopped that. Helped with the bar and then from then on went between helping that bar when busy, and helping with the food.
Work was fine on Saturday until all the higher up managers left, and people resorted to their stupidity. The beginning part went well, infact very well especially for it being our #1 account and the party being a close to 500 person plated dinner. A co-worker recognized a teacher from school, and let's just say the teacher had a little too much wine to drink.
Sunday, watch some football and went to eat with some family. My uncle who has been in town for about 2 or so months will be heading back to WA on Saturday, but will first be getting their eye checked out. Which happens to be the reason they stayed in town so long.
Monday, I let thoughts from Saturday ruined a not too bad day at work.
Tuesday, I got paid, and didn't get to meet the new assistant manager due to them being in a staff meeting. Also the fact that I have school on Tuesday night doesn't help.
Today(wednesday), finally met the assistant manager at work, wasn't too bothered today, and for some reason the assistant manager thinks I look familiar. I didn't what to think, but after a while the thoughts of why they think I look familiar might be because they know a cousin of mine.
And an interesting tidbit, the former Executive Cheif now Food and Beverage Director, proved that they give a shit about how the bars and such do. We had 8 cases of Bud Light left, a case of bud, and about 1 to 2 cases of Miller Lite and Coor Light left. He got on the phone on Friday night because our #1 account was going to be here on Saturday and got us more Miller and Coors. Atleast we finally have someone willing to take chances and get us alcohol incase it is needed.
Halloween what fun...and adios to the election ads
Halloween on a Sunday, means having to go between watching the night football game and giving kids candy. And for the most part I was happy that there were too many that looked like they should be in high school or older. But there was one person that made me wish my lil sister wasn't going to Iowa State, and was here for Halloween. A kid dressed as Michael Myers came up, asked "Is your sister here?" acting like he was going to go into the house. I turned him around, and had to keep from saying "I wish my sister was here so I could watch her kick your ass."
Election day is today, and I voted. Who did I vote for....none-ya-business. Yes, There is a reason why you go behind a screen and mark the ballots. But I will be happy to not have to worry about seeing another TV ad every 5 minutes.
