Where normal ceases to exist

I need help....

Well not exactly me, but my brother and his wife had their first kid, Gavin. And before leaving the hospital, I was told one of the test he given was a hearing test...the result of which was him failing it. Please keep my nephew in your thoughts in hopes that the test was just fluke and he comes out fine with the full scare of his hearing.
